I have some sad news, my sweet handsome Cody passed away April 13th, 2012. :( A week before his 9th birthday. Something in his eyes told me he was done fighting. He had been having runny poop for 2 years but the last week it was explosive to the point he was doing it every hour. That's not a happy dog. :( He stopped eating and just didn't want to do anything. I made the sad choice of putting him to sleep. He passed away gently in my arms while I hugged him and told him he was the best dog I ever had. <3 There will never be another Cody. So it's been almost a year since I was on here, I decided I should come back and post some recent photos of the pups. Cody had eye surgery today, a lump was growing and the vet said if it wasn't removed it would be too late to remove it and then they would have to remove his eyelid. So we chose to remove it now and not wait. He's been groggy and just pain tired but he diserves that, he's had a rough day. I just hope he recovers fast. He hasn't had surgery before that I can remember. And he'll be turning 8 in exactly two months from today. He also has to go to a specialist to find out why he isn't gaining any weight even though he's on life long medicine to help his body get nutrients from food.
